Oak hill academy hosts summer camps & clinics through the summer at its beautiful rural campus in the Appalachian mountains of southwest Virginia.

In 2025, our campers won a state title, a state runner-up, two third places finishes and a sixth place finish. What can we help you accomplish in 2026?!

❋ Intentional Structure

We focus on technique primarily in Freestyle and Greco while also allowing free time to lift, take in the scenery, hike or even fish or swim at Lake Samuella.

❋ Expert Clinicians

Led by experienced clinicians who know how to motivate, support & grow high level wrestlers. We keep the pace challenging but retain a loose atmosphere to foster mat creativity.

❋ A Supportive Space

Our camps prioritize fun, invention, effort, technique & group bonding. We want our camps to be supportive & memorable for everyone!

Our 2nd Annual Women’s Camp will take place from June 29th to July 3rd, 2026 and will headline US World Team member Emma Bruntil and U20 All-American & William Jewell University standout Shelby Kemp.

  • Last summer, I had the privilege of attending Oak Hill Academy’s Wrestling Camp, led by Coach Dennis Wymer. Coach Wymer fostered an atmosphere that was welcoming, supportive, and truly enjoyable to be part of. The clinicians brought in to work with us were exceptional and provided guidance that genuinely strengthened my experience. I attend several camps each summer, but this one genuinely stood out as a favorite. I would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a meaningful and positive training experience.
